I may not always post but I saw the bumper update, just didn't have time to post. Digging' it though! How do you plan to fix the smiley face issue? I think it looks kinda cool lol

I dont hate the smiley face but i think something meaner looking is in order. I was thinking possibly like a skyline style opening

Well the bottom would stay the same abd i would just cut out the area that i wanted cut out and then weld in side filler pieces.
This would be beneficial since it would direct air into the intercooler/radiator to help cooling also. The bigger the opening the better imo.

I would be nervous to start a project like that lol but my fab skills = zero, and you're more than qualified. Anyways, can't wait to see the outcome. I think it'll look pretty aggressive.

Im really not that great of a fabricator. Sure i make do with the lack of tools and such that i have but i bet i could build some really trick s**t if i had better tools.
Its really cool to make your mind think of ways to do certain things with tools that werent meant to do what i make them do.
But back to the bumper. Its just metal. If u f**k it up then u just have to weld it up and grind it smooth.
Im still not certain if im going to mod it yet or not. Ive got plenty of time to worry about it while i move on to more important things...

Well i worked my ass off all day in the garage...
I apologize in advance that i didnt take a lot of pics. I was in a groove...
I mounted up my intercooler...
Then cut out a few holes in the bracket to make it a bit more baller status!
Then fully welded the core support and mounted it so its removable.
Everything put back together.
Still trying to come up with a trick way to mount my grill. Travis is working on something for me so hopefully he comes through!

Ive had several big picture updates in the last week.The actual picture updates on this thread are few and far between, but when we finally get one its good. Keep up the good work.I'm curious to see how this grill is going to be mounted.
But i get what u mean. I just dont get to spend as much time working on this truck as i would like but i appreciate everyone checking in and leaving feedback!

Didnt touch the truck today...
Been online looking for ways to attach my grill to my new core support and also looking at new compressors and such.
Spent the day with the wife and daughter at the mall. Didnt buy anything but it was a good time.
Hopefully get some more work done on the truck after work tomorrow...
