haha evan is the man... see my engine will only be seeing 7 psi so it will be intercooled tuned and run on 93 octane not 91 so people on turbod16 said I should def. be alright as long as its tuned.... i'm not trying to blow my motor though thats why i am doing little upgrades here and there

to be honest you seem to have some cash, why not just build it
d series motors are cheap, i wouldnt be too scare of breaking s**t if you have a good bit of cash, cant be scared your whole life

now for me and the gsr i bought it all at once, but also blowing up a c1 isnt the same as a d series motor

and you only need a 3 bar map sensor if you go over 11.5lbs

I agree with that 100% i am not rich anymore I had a big chunk of change but now i'm down to like 400 bucks

oh I got the dsm injectors by the way payed 50 bucks for them off ebay they look like there in really good condition too my fuel pump came in and I also went to radio shack and bought the resistors but i am still pissed about my turbo timer I need to get it installed

$400 is enough to buy another motor almost.. d series are cheap!
you can run 8psi pretty darn reliably.... but the key to everything will be how it is tuned...

god thats so embarassing that my motor is only worth $400 +/-....... :( what a joke I could have bought about 10 of those engines with the money i've put into it

Stock B motors can handle quite a bit more than 8 psi, not sure what the SOHC's can do. I've been pushing 10psi on my b16 for about 12K now...still have almost perfect compression across every cylinder. It's all in the tuning. Drop the timing back a little bit and tune it a little rich and you're golden. I'm turing the boost up to 12psi next week...no worries, I'm giving it a nice safe tune.
