and why would he do that when thats how they come from the factory?im not feeling it, u need to paint your lip, and your sideskirts, and your body moulding ,
The new bottom end will be using the same crank and rods from my previous setup (which was a miracle considering we had to use the same main cap), and the pistons you see are a slight bigger bore. The car will get broken in on a dyno and tuned on pump gas for now... but if I get that itch back I would like to tune it again for high boost and reach closer to 300hp.ooooohh updates! whats all in the works? or is it a secret
Well I had the sleeved block for a few years... and I promised myself that if I ever came across extra cash that I would get my bottom end completely rebuilt, it was good timing actually because I will be driving the hatch for the next two months. I can't really say where I will go with the car after the rebuild is done, chances are that I will keep it on a mild tune and get rid of it since the motor will be in great running condition... but I would say that there is a 40% chance that I might hang on it to max its potential with the stock valve train. And I always thought you were done with your hatch
Sounds good. Any plans if you do get rid of it?Well I had the sleeved block for a few years... and I promised myself that if I ever came across extra cash that I would get my bottom end completely rebuilt, it was good timing actually because I will be driving the hatch for the next two months. A little too shiny.Pistons are too shiny IMO.
My car never sees the road unless tuned, don't even think about calling my a hardparker lol. No numbers that day, all we did was lay out a base map for breaking in the bottom end. We hit 260HP on the previous setup, so it should be pretty easy to reach 300 (front mount will max out). I'm willing to push around 18-20psi on full boost, but nothing more on the stock valve train. Will keep updated.Hard parker.
What kind of numbers did you pull?
Oh come on, grow some balls, max that b***h out untuned and go WOTMy car never sees the road unless tuned, don't even think about calling my a hardparker lol.
