Okay you have a power goal set - good. Now, what's your budget? This is something you don't cheap out on. Save at least $500 aside for tuning alone.

You can either piece together your own kit (cheapest route), or buy a complete kit (easier route).

Start here to read about how turbo & parts work; this was my starting point and it's a great reference:
http://www.beesandgoats.com/boostfaq/g2icturbo.html

I'd upgrade your fuel pump, and if you can, your water pump. Timing belt most definitely.

If you want, you can build the block with some rods & pistons for more boost. Wouldn't go over 6-7psi on the stock block. If you're pulling the head off the block might as well change the headgasket with a nice MLS one, and get some ARP head studs.

You need to choose an injector route too. as you need larger fuel injectors. You can get peak & hold injectors, where you'd also need a resistor box. This is cheap, as you can use a lot of DSM injectors from a turbo talon or something, but also means you're running more wires (though wiring it is very easy). Saturated injectors require no resistor box, but are usually a little more expensive.

There's a jabillion different routes to go in terms of parts, etc. Definitely do some research before jumping in to anything; it will save you $$$ in the long run. And DEFINITELY get a good tune. Most important part of the entire setup, hands down.

Good luck! :thumbs up

14b or 16g OR saab turbo OR try to find a little KO3 or if youre super lucky a K04
go-autoworks manifold
dsm 450s
walboro 255lph
FPR
intercooler and piping
chipped ecu+tune
exhaust
good clutch if you plan on beating on it alot or alot of digs

any one of those turbos on 10psi will be safe with a good tune and will hit 200whp
