well it wont rob the hp at all...... just not allow for as much gains.

i was thinking though, that one that's posted is only putting out low boost witht he s/c. would that really help much for any type of racing?

autox in a honda usually involves keeping it in the higher rpm's where the s/c wouldnt be in effect.

and for drag on a fwd i'd imagine it'd create more traction issues than anything since the s/c most likely will be dead weight after 1st gear.

i saw this done on a mini cooper, it was cool, power output is nice with little lag, but a tuning and mechanical nightmare all around. a single turbo is just better i think, but if you want to be original go for it

that car wasnt built to race.. it was built to see how easy it would be.. and to turn heads... BUT even with that said.. that thing can move.. i had some more info on it.. ill have to see if i can find it... keep in mind we are going back a couple years..

the twincharging would be a trick, what toyota did was use the supercharger for low end, then once the turbo spooled up it hit some kind of a clutch to allow the turbo to do the rest. A setup like that is going to cost alot of money as well as be a mechanical nightmare.

as for the block i would go with some dart sleves or fill the block

so true that motor would basically be a timebomb.. you could tune it and all that but still there is a chance its gonna take a dump any second... too many variables to make it reliable
