So what do you guys think? If you had the money, would your 6th gen look like this on the inside?

I'm seriously considering it for when i have money to dish out, i just think that interior is so damn sexy. Though with my color i'd wonder whether i should chop the red and use blue instead...

So, thoughts? Anybody have any idea of just how much im looking at here? XD

EDIT: Though i think i'd still keep an analogue cluster, dont go much on the digital ones, i like to watch my needle move XD

I would never put it in another car, but yeh that interior is sick as balls. It's actually the background on my computer, not that exact pic though. Reviews on it however said that its awful, the accessibility and what not.

I just find it kind of, i dunno my whole interior is just, gray. I wouldnt mind it being a bit more, i dunno interesting or sporty y'know? So what do you think it might look like on a 99 dx? Baring in mind i'd keep my current dash and cluster, im just talking seats, doors, carpets. Not those pedals though, accel pedal looks a bit....weird.

I guess im just bored of my interior being practically 100% gray, with electron blue pearl paint, the gray interior doesnt really match. I just like the type-r interior design, i think i'd only change the seats, carpet and doors anyway. I like the two-tone black/red, though with the paint i'd probly pick black/blue. And if i had bucket seats, they'd be black/blue, and would make the rest of the gray interior just look gay. So i'd either do all of it or none

I like red/black theme, but not feeling the shape or form (look 2 futuristic for me) :(

I'd still keep all my original seats, just have them recovered. 6th gen seats, 8th gen style lol

That would be such a pain in the ass, not to mention I doubt it would ever fit correctly.

I love my interior as a 6th gen interior.

the 6th gen interior is my favorite out of all the civics. i love how the dash is shaped, i like the center console. its simple yet effective. and dont complain about the gray. at least you didnt get stuck with the awful tan interior ;)

Hahaha true, tan would be a little worse than gray. I just kinda want a black/blue interior. And i wouldnt be changing the dash, i like it too, and i like my cluster. Though, one day i might swap my stock cluster for the white SI one, i like that ^_^

SI clusters are nice. and i went thru a black/blue interior phase when i first started driving. i grew out of it.

Saw the white SI cluster swapped out for the standard on another recent threat, looked so ace. Might do it myself when i get the money to. This is all speculation though, provided i can get a decent enough job to fund this sort of modifying haha

Id love to have that interior, just not in my 6th gen.

On mine I want red door panel material, red covered armrest, Si steering wheel, Si cluster, GSR leather seats and my red/black shift boot.

that would be a lot of money. im not sure if it will be worthwhile anyways. id spend it on some seats because the stock ones are a bit stiff but thats it. thats just my opinion. id give you a thumbs up if you ever did it tho. and a lot of people would wanna steal it from you just to let you know.

I upgraded what I found to be the most "practical" interior items:

Shift Knob - CTR (weighted, positive feel)
Steering Wheel - S2000 (small diameter, larger grip)
Recaros - CTR (for the side bolsters, of course)
Pedals - CTR (gives a better feel, although it varies person to person).

After that, I called it good. I think, unless you're going for show status, there's no reason to color match the interior.

functionality > form.

Would be nice to go for show status, have it looking tip top condition like that, color matched type-r styled interior, maybe buckets and the like, but i'd want it the whole way through, total re-carpeting, back seats matched to the front, the white SI cluster... Only thing i wouldnt want is push start engine, i like turning my key lol
