does a show car work with a stock motor? All the show cars i see have hoods up and chrome heads and everything, cant i just leave my hood down, and have a nice paint job, body and interior, and nobody be any the wiser? XD

Interior i could afford to do, but with petrol the way it is i dont think i'll be going for a turbo any time soon >.>

well thats why I prefer a well-balanced car, with everything touched on a little bit rather than all put into one area.

Hehe true, but with todays petrol prices, if i had to pick one i'd go with the interior, since gas aint gonna get cheaper any time soon haha. Wouldnt mind some better audio either, but that i just need an amp for, got all my speakers already, yet again another thing for another day haha

alot of show hondas still have the stock engine, they just put a shiny header on and crome the valve cover, plus make all the hoses bright colors.

most show cars are trailered. rock chips dont help at car shows.

this is kinda off topic, but i have a 00 civic ex and i just installed the real JDM type r black leather with red stitching shift boot, but can someone tell me why my oem and an aftermarket shift knob doesnt work. aand the threads arent stripped. im thinking of just ordering an 00 civic Si oem knob but i dont wanna have an issue with it
