Update on "Project Gertrude"

Actually it's funny you bring that up, don't want to give up too many details (no drifting) but as parts start to roll in this car is going to go from "Project Gertrude" to "Project Street Regal" (play on words on street legal). This car will have the "go" but also a really nice suspension & brake setup. I really want to build something different from every other GN out there but still stay true to the roots of the car. I want to improve on the weaknesses of the car (braking and suspension) making it a nice street car that will still feel at home on the 1/4 mile track. Hence "Project Street Regal".King Bob said:
Gotcha, It seems you have a simalar mentality to mine. I am sick and tired of all consuming focus on hp and 1/4 mile times. Its like every one wants a 10 second car when all they have ever driven is a stock civic. I have driven my friends ss camaro that runs mid 11's and that thing is scarry and a b***h to drive, he has only focused on power so its dicufficult to do anything but go in a straight line. I think people need to focus on what suits them and what they want from a car and get over the idea that some one will allways have a better time or dyno slip. MAD props man cant wait to see where you take it.

very nice man. those are real nice. cars. i love how they under rated the hp on them buy 100. real sleeper right there.
