yea man, i think im goin to go do it right now, u dont think goo gone will damage the paint?c_diddy said:no, the only emblem which I believe has holes is the Honda emblem. As for the "civic" and "ex" emblem, you'll be fine....they're just held on by double sided tape. i recommend using some goo gone to help take off some left over sticky stuff.

it's not going to damage the paint, but I've read around that it's recommend that you at least wash it or clean it afterwards. i really did not expect that engine...
that thing is a true sleeper....i would expect a stock looking beat up car to have a swap more than your car..

haha word man, before the swap i was humiliated by a couple of girls in a stock celica gt-s... lets just say ive put them in their place now, even with the 17's. Same goes for a v6 jetta that beat me before the swap... and an eclipse gst. im slowly but surely going around and getting my respect back : ) The biggest one for me was the celica though... how embarrasing it was the first time around.BlackHope121 said:i really did not expect that engine...

anyways thanks for the comments guys, i debadged my car yesterday, had a hard time getting the "civic" residue off, it took ALOT of scrubbing but i finally got it. the dealer badge and "EX" came off fairly easy though. I looked into taking the spoiler off keeping my fingers crossed that it too was held on with double sided take but nope, 4 screws in the trunk lid, and where those screws were drilled in there is a tiny bit of rust forming from the person not putting any paint on the bare metal afterwards.

cant take the spoiler off til i can afford to respray my trunk cus its screwed on, trust me its been there since i purchased the car in january lol. as far as the Honda sticker goes... its comin off soon. it used to have a big ol "CIVIC" sticker on the front windshield, but i got rid of it. But i dont wanna get rid of the "H" til i get rid of the spoiler... dunno why but thats just how i want it to be.
