We don't do the second battery, power cells dampen the surge more efficiently since they are designed to spread it across how every many cells are in the unit. A 2.2 farad cap holds 2000-2500 rms plenty fine, if you have any more pull than that then get a power cell. 2000 rms is a ton of boom.
