Ok let me start this off by saying 1 thing,

know with that said lets begin,
iv been a member of this site since last Oct, coming up on a year now, i have not until recently became active on the site. but since i have i cant but notice 1 thing. if your not JDM your a RiceBurner. and this is starting to get annoying.
so maybe someone doesnt like have the oem look, and wants to stand out a little, or maybe they like having a custom bodykit on their car, or maybe a wing(although freakishly large wings are kinda funny looking). what is it to you if they have a sticker on their front windshield that says honda, they are just showing pride in somthing so damn well made.
im not saying that its cool to have 5'' tips that make yoru car sound like a 2 stroke weed whacker, but at the same time, why does it matter to you, you aint drivin the car, and 9 times out of 10, you aint ever going to see the car. and if you did, look the other way.
JDM/OEM is fine if that is the style you like, but if someone prefers some AM parts/kits/lights, then so be it, a civic is still a civic, just one looks diff from yours doesnt make it bad, just that, different.
im not asking anyone to stop loving JDM, just stop hating on After Market parts. Civic owners are supposed to be a big family, which is why i joined this site in the first place, to be with other people, that enjoy the same vehicle that i do, and be able to talk about all the things we love about our cars.
im not going to list any name/post but, when ever someone post up pictures of their rides and say "so what do you think of it, just got the new rims and front and rear lights" you will always see this post somewhere in the replyes, "yo man, change yo rims, drop that s**t, and go back to the oem lights" i mean come one, the person just said they bought the stuff, im not sure about you, but im not just going out and randomly buying parts that i hope will look good. i take my time to select somthing that fits the overall scheme of my car, and how i would like to look when im cruisin the streets.
a car is an extension of a person, how you rep your ride, is how your repin your self, so if you got a lowered ride w/ rota's and a spoon lip, then thats all you, thats how you wanna be seen when rollin, but if you got a ride sittin on 10 spoke bbk's and an all around bodykit and a 5" tip that makes your car sound like a 2 stroke weed whacker, then thats all you as well.
i guess what im trying to get at, is instead of trying to force your looks and style upon everyone out there, why not try opening up your eyes, and say somthing creative like "nice ride man, you might wanna tweek this, or maybe change this", and not just tell them their entire ride is trash and they should just go to teh impound lot and have it crushed.
maybe this will open the eyes of a few people, maybe someone will agree with me, although alot of people are going to disagree w/ me. but let me just tell you know, your words do not make me lose any sleep, because unlike most of the people who get on these site to do nothing but trash people, i could care less what you think at me or my car.
flame away, or man up, confess up, and actually star acting like a human being and not some ass, cause i bet if half or your mom's saw how you talk/treated people online, i bet they'd knock you senseless, or is no one raised up with morales anymore.
