ok have had a terrible day

started off like this

was happy i got all the parts i need to put bottom end together

so we starting doing everything got 1st piston rings compressed and clyinder oiled up and etc

got the connecting rod on the crank goto tighten down the rod bolts with just a wrench

and this happens

[freak]ing fresh machined connected rod ruined


well come to find out i had the 9mm arp rod bolts in teh stock b16 rods, and now i know your only suppose to use the arp 8mm for b16 rods, only rods that use the 9mm is gsr and type r

so thats y, now i got 4 ruined fresh machined rods

lucky i know ppl and got a fresh pair of pr3 rods

and bought some new 8mm arp rod bolts

now gotta take new and old rods to machine shop so theres another 170 bucks =(

i feel your pain, when i was building the head to my d16z6. i was torqing the bolts to the rocker arm assembly and i snapped on, had to order a frssh new one.

ok guys i just got in from IA 08 the other day where i sold my b16head to a friend , i went and picked this up yesterday and im veryyy happy with it

its a 2000 ITR head

mods are

Rev Racing Valve Springs(Kawasaki motorcycle valve springs)
Supertech Retainers
Brand New OEM Valves and Valve Guides
RLZ Stage 2 Valve Job

no cams but i will be installing my Brian Crower Stage 3 cams

also picked up from brice.hayden a

jasma 93E020 B16a 4-2-1 header for rite now, ill get an an-r,rmf or smsp sometime but money is getting shortttt right now

also got a midori green valve cover, and also a Type R valve cover

enjoy

just waiting on freakin machine shop again
