FixedI'm single, young_, and don't mind working. I'm just nervous about stability of the job. The pay would be double what I make now.

+ Busch GardensOne state below me, Florida, has Disney WORLD!
Happens at every big park. Happened at Busch not too long agoAt the six flags over Georgia there's been a few people die underneath the batman ride. One guy was decapitated, and the other was hit by the riders legs. He was trying to retrieve his hat (-_-)
I'd be down for such a drive. Gives me an excuse to surprise my grandma & aunt in Chicago in the processLast year John and I decided we wanted to have a CC meet in the middle of the country. Anyone is welcome, but the main interested parties were John and myself, Connie, Joe Fabiano, Alex, Anfrey, Victor, Denny if in country, and I feel like I'm forgetting others. If you don't know who those people are, sorry I don't know screen names - we all talk too often for me to go by screen names anymore.
We were all pretty serious about it, and then everyone kept having things happen so it never went anywhere. I am still down for this. I'm the most central out of anyone on this board (St. Louis, MO), so I didn't mind covering some costs to help out others since little to no travel is involved for me.
Might be going one of these weekends just to say I've been back....I think a trip to New Orleans would be best ^_^
I'm not worried about him getting a job, he has had an interview every day this week with similar companies or competitors. Its just having to move my 15y/o brother out of another school. He has a gf and is in a band and plays sports etc. Every job interview has been somewhere else (Salt Lake, Columbus, Toronto). As for me, like I said if it comes to that Ill just pack up and go back to WA. I can finish school there not too big of a deal.^^^ goddamn that really sucks.... Sorry to hear . That's why I'm glad I have my job. Never heard of a lay off since they opened over 45 years ago. Hope things work out for you guys.

He was a regional operations director for the same company I just left. He had several plants under him from California to Pennsylvania.Dude sorry to hear that. What did he do?
He wasn't laid off, they simply eliminated his position. He isn't being replaced or anything. He has 4 months severance pay, it was just super s***ty. New VPs coming in, lots of people coming and going etc.Ouch. I've been laid off a few times (companies closed). It sucks, but in the end, it usually opens better doors. Hoping all works out well!
Sounds like the company I work for.He wasn't laid off, they simply eliminated his position. He isn't being replaced or anything. He has 4 months severance pay, it was just super s***ty. New VPs coming in, lots of people coming and going etc.
There just seems to be such a lack of respect in American manufacturing, it's been bothering me a lot lately.Sounds like the company I work for.
New CEO came in from Pepsi, emptied quite a few offices up in Philly (HQ), and we've been dealing with quite a few company shakeups here at FSU.
Ordered for me right?ordered one of these today
Right!? It's astounding. Listening to my parents talk about how their companies treated them when they were early in their careers was inspiring. There was a bravado and respect that was earned, and given back then. Now, it's just "you're expendable, so break your back for me".There just seems to be such a lack of respect in American manufacturing, it's been bothering me a lot lately.
All my education to this point had been geared towards that type of career, and seeing s*** like that happen is so disheartening it makes me sick.
I'm not even low, I'd be fineI woukd love to see some of these people's cars in new Orleans. I know if I have a problem in my stock height si then wow. It is fun though. Honestly though bourbon st. Is the worst place to be on mardi gras.

I legit want to go to Mardi Gras though. Even if Bourbon St. is a nightmare, the experience alone is worth it!

It was close to the same thing when I visited Memphis. Hotel was 2 blocks away from Beale street and I was there for a bowl game on new years.I just say go to bourbon get a hand grenade enjoy the boobs then move up a few streets it's the same s**t as bourbon minus the amount of people so you can actually move without being nut to butt with the person infront or behind you
