Puma I was not talking about fried food. I was talking traditional Cajun food. Italian food is from Italy and Sicily not Chicago. Itis actually more than likely aAmericanized Italian at that. If you want Italian food go to Europe

You should visit Memphis lol
Was there for the liberty bowl. Explored some suburbs, south Memphis, west Memphis. Agreed. Been to st Louis a lot as I have a good friend there and Memphis is crazy compared to it. Although, St Louis does have a lot more murders.

I'm going to get a compression test and a cooling system pressure test on the civic. Hopefully my car's problem is nothing too big.

Lol a headgasket is 30 bucks and takes a couple hours to do
I don't have that much knowledge, but I'm positive that a few hours of research and I'll be able to do it.

Well it seems that's not gonna be necessary since both test came out fine, and compression was also good. They're gonna keep the car at the shop so that they can figure out whats going on with it.

What?! You mean healthier. ..right? We don't cook in a vat of butter. Chicago has the best food and especially Italian. Omg I miss the food so badly.

I'm noticing that about SD. Rob and I are going there for 4 days for our anniversary and we have friends there. Air, hotel, rental car in La Jolla for just at $1200. I doubt we'll need the rental car much but our friends built a house in Santee so it'll be easier having our own transportation.

Whale watching is a must. I'll probably cry on the boat when I see one. I ruvs blue whales so much!

Sent from my Note 2
Santee!! Hah! I lived in El Cajon, about 2 minutes from Santee. Santee is skinhead central, be ready for that. It's the butthole of San Diego (well, aside from Vista). Be sure you guys visit Ocean Beach, as you're like 15 minutes away. It's a quiet, sleepy surf city with lots of class and oldschool San Diego style. One of my favorite beaches in that area. It also has one of the longest piers on the west coast (I want to say it goes out to sea over a mile). There is nothing like west coast beaches.. I think you'll fall in love.

Yeah buddy!!! Can't wait to start my weekend!!

I'm nervous because I don't want it to be huge since I don't have the money to fix something as big as a head gasket.

 I can do a head gasket in about an hour, so long as the head/block surfaces are level. Also, EJackBauer, you'd know if it was your head gasket (most of the time). There'd be, at the least, milky white substances in your oil. At the worst, it'd be smoking like a motherf***er. First things first, compression test it. Do it a few times, and compare numbers. What are your symptoms, btw?

There are no symptoms of a head gasket failure, but my car leaks antifreeze through the reservoir cap since the pressure makes the reservoir full, but after it leaks out enough of course it starts heating up a little. It's never been past 3/4ths on the temperature gauge though.

Drain your rad, and pressure test it. I have a feeling the neck is leaking (common on stock rads in civic with over 100k haha. Same thing happened to mine). If that's the case, eBay an aluminum rad for under $80, and bam. Fixed. Takes maybe an hour to replace.

This radiator isn't leaking it was replaced last summer and it has less than 15k on it.
