Walmart is bad about promising more games on pre order than they have. That's the reason I ordered through GameStop. Guaranteed to get a copy.

Hellllll no. I don't see how man. I've spent countless hours on every single grand theft auto game. COUNTLESS. I used to be real hardcore into games (complete waste of time. Now that I have a job and a life I'll never be able to invest time like that into a game ever again, nor will I have any desire to) I've literally played grand theft auto for 48 hours straight. No sleep, just games, red bull, snacks, weed, and bathroom breaks. Did the same s**t with halo.

Not trying to brag, obviously it's nothing to be proud of, just genuinely surprised that a game that I could be so interested in and invested in, could bore someone so easily. Different worlds man lol

A 90's FZR and a 2008 CBR are totally different worlds. One is a VERY forgiving carbureted 85hp motor and the other is an unforgiving 102hp fuel injected motor. That 600rr will put you on your ass in a second where as the FZR will let you make the mistakes you are going to make as a newb. You are getting extremely too cocky and it is going to end up biting you in the ass. It isn't about speed it is about how badly they react to mistakes.
First off, I just want to say my fzr is faster in a straight line than my brother's cbr600rr.
The fzr is also a way less forgiving bike, the brakes don't react as quickly and aren't as precise and intuitive, it's an extremely flickable bike as well, and with the failed fork seals, you can flick it hard enough to push the front tire. It's not really a safe bike, and not really an easy bike to learn on. Where as the cbr is a finely tuned street machine. Very predictable and tame as far as sport bikes go.
That being said, Alex is a fairly conservative rider, and she's not dumb either. She knows where her limit is and isn't about to push herself past it.
She is way more than capable of riding a 600. The reality is, just because you HAVE 100hp doesn't mean you have to ride with that much. A cbr600 at 5k only has as much tq and hp as a 250 does at 8k.
I, knowing her very well, am comfortable with her riding a 600 and have no doubt she'll be just fine. She learned pretty quick and has never rode a bike smaller than a 550.

Lol, and she didnt want me to post this either. I'm just tired of hearing about people talking about her riding ability when they've never seen how good she rides before. :smackself

Your kidding right? A cbr600rr does 0-60 in 3 seconds and a cbr250r does it in almost 9 seconds. A new fuel injected 600 isn't good for a beginner, flat out plain and simple. There is a reason the statistics are as high as they are for beginners on bigger bikes. Yes, she is still a beginner.

It's about the power at low end. The power that will slam a newb into another car within a second when they panic and can't control the throttle because of not having the experience. How about blipping the throttle a little too much in a slow seattle turn and lowsiding because the control just isn't there yet. What about the brakes that can throw you over the front of the bike when you panic stop in terrible seattle traffic? All 3 of those senarios would be less dramatic on a smaller bike or an older one that isn't so touchy.

I would recommend spending less time telling her how fast she has become a good rider and more time teaching her HOW to become one. I guarantee she still has a lot to learn. We all do. That gained experience will keep her with the rubber side to the ground. Feeding her ego about how good she is when she is still learning will do just the opposite.

I don't know Alex, and chances are very slim that I would ever meet her outside of this forum. I am just trying to put down to text, my 16 years of street riding experience (and the many I have seen lost to a very dangerous form of transportation) that may help to keep a new rider from being a statistic.

Ehhh just not my type of game. I'm bigger on fps and doing straight online. I despise past few halos. First 2 were great. I'm waiting on the new game Destiny. Who will be getting the ps4 and playing that with me.
