Lol thanks man! I'll post some pics when I pick it up. I have pics form the lot for now.

The wheels are being replaced with factory wheels (I hated the ones that were on it lol. They weren't part of the price anyway). I will likely be throwing on some VMR V710's in 19 with +35 offset in Matte Black after xmas. I may drop the car a little, will depend on how it looks with the 19's on it. Just want this thing clean as all hell and comfortable for a DD!

Make sure you get that warranty, especially if it is "audi care". You will be kicking your own ass if you don't. Audi Care is absolutely the best warranty system that I have ever seen. It covers pretty much all the maintenance items all the way down to the oil changes, pollen filters, etc. Definitely worth it 100%. I have customers that swear they love Audi just for the simple fact of Audi Care. Means a lot when the minor things like oil changes are covered by the manufacturer.

Pulled the motor out my teg a couple days ago, Time to go to work on it! Going to remove the rotating assembly and get the block hot tanked and honed than when I get it back put the block together with some new stuff, Than the head and trans i'll decide what I want to do to them when I finish the block

Indeed! It was a reconstructed title so yeah.. There's a TON of that up here. If it's a foreign car and it gets the slightest little scratch, totaled. Air pressure too low, totaled. Cat prints on the glass, totaled... Ok, not that THAT bad, but they'll recon a title up here for ANYTHING damn near. So, there's lots of them floating around the for sale market and people are pretty used to them. I try to avoid buying cars like that up here, but I know if I can score the right deal I'll still make money. This Audi made me a good chunk of change and I didn't even run a full tank of gas through it!

Ahh salvaged. That makes more sense! Usually, a clean title 04 will go for like $8-$9k here.
They get salvaged here constantly as well. In fact, my shitty Civic is a salvage title lol.

The vast majority of cars with recon titles up here are for TINY stuff because of our location to the outside world, that drives the cost WAY up for repair and thus it's totaled and given a recon title. For example, had a BMW E46 a couple months back. Slid into a snow bank, cracked the bumper, and the CEL came on. Because we don't have an authorized dealer up here to clear the CEL, the insurance totaled the car. People up here are used to that and if you know what you're doing, you'll find awesome deals. I bought a special BMW scan tool for $30 on Amazon, cleared the code, and walla... Perfect running/drving BMW I picked up for cheap and sold a grand under book. I've made a grip on all my recon titled cars. I'll miss being able to do that when I leave here.

Yessir! Right after I posted that I was like why am I posting this online instead of working on it more... Just went outside and took the rotating assembly out, Got it down to bare block (besides head and main studs) Going to take the block to get hot tanked etc sometime in the next couple days.

CP Pistons and Brian crower rods with ARP 625+ bolts rated at 1100HP. Going to order a new set of 83mm cp rings and cp upgraded wrist pins soon.

It wasn't posted to scare you in any way. I was just posting it to say that you need to fight for it if it is Audi Care cause it's the s**t. If not then it is just a normal extended warranty. I also didn't know that you couldn't transfer Audi Care if not at Audi.

I've sold all of my furniture. Couches, rugs, tables, bed, dressers, flat screen... all of it. My last car for sale (besides the two DD's we're using now) should be picked up on Friday too. Now we're all sitting on lawn furniture in the living room watching movies/TV on our ipads waiting for a moving truck to come get all that's left. I'm still shocked there's no snow on the ground! I just want to be out of here so bad before it gets to 0 degrees and it looks like that might happen! Family has flights booked for the 23rd and i'll be around the same.... Almost there!!!!!!

Though they've recently introduced some new ad valorem tax, so we'll see next year.
