Ended up working 9.5 hours today and got 5 hours holiday pay. Sold my paintball tank. 2, maybe 3 pays and I'll be able to buy my coilovers for my drop.

Returning to work... /sigh. Looks like the head stockroom guy is out so I'll be on inventory duty... And there's a f**k ton of stuff out on the dock. Awesome.

im a contractor too but if you get paid holidays it really depends on the contract house... they should have informed you of the holidays before you signed with them.

im hoping to get hired direct into Chrysler by next year

I signed 11 months ago. I wouldn't remember if they did tell me . I honestly don't even care. I don't expect to get paid. I've never had a job with paid vacation or holidays so it's no big deal for me.

Leaving Colorado after being here for a week and a half. Vacation is half over already

Today I went to the post office. I left my window down a crack, and locked all the doors. Come out less then a minute later, I just had to put something in the mail box. Get into my car just to notice someone reached through the window, unlocked the door and stole my iPod, thankfully nothing else was taken but I'm still pissed. Now I have to work 2:30-11
