You're straight retarded if you buy a $1200 head unit. I paid $1000 for mine installed with a plug and play wiring harness, rubberized fascia, euro antenna adapter, and steering wheel controls...Lost my phone nye but got it back. My friend came home last Thursday for his wedding and spent everyday drunk with him basically.
We ripped the s4 up in the snow before he left this morning to go back to Hawaii
I'm looking at headunits for the car but idk if I want to drop 1200 that could go towards air

I paid $175 installed for my single DIN Alpine. No CD player, just a deck with a radio, aux, USB, and Bluetooth. All I do is use Bluetooth with my iPhone. Works like a charm.Eh you get what you pay for and for an alpine with built in 3d navi, iPhone 5 compatible, pandora controls, and CD player and the stuff but harness adapter to put it in. I'm pretty picky with audio, especially after working in a shop.
It will be closer to 1000-1100 though since headunits only 900. I don't let other people work on my car and put stuff in, not after what I've seen

I have a Kenwood, which has Garmin Navigation (regarded as the hands-down best there is), Bluetooth, HD radio, App Phone, iPod/USB support, DVD etc. There isn't much it can't do. The only thing above it is the Excelon which is literally just d**k measuring (the ONLY difference is wifi, which I don't want to make my phone a wifi hotspot as it is). The Excelons run like $1200 starting, and the interface is slow as s*** and clunky. Oh yeah, I installed mine myself, too.$1200 is nothing for a double din unit. Especially if you want a good one. That being said, there are ones that are a few options less than the top ones that perform the same but don't have all the bells and whistles. For me most of the bells and whistles end up not getting used after the "fun" and newness wears off. I opted for one with less add ons and ended up around $800 with the harnesses, antenna, and steering wheel control. I installed it myself though so I didn't have that huge inflated cost to do something I can do with my eyes closed in an evenings worth of time.
Yeah I have all of the above as well.Mine is dvd, pandora, usb, iphone (which I don't have but have an ipod touch permanently connected), app radio (with 4 or so different navigation apps), and bluetooth. I bought it mainly for the bluetooth and the double din. The nav was a plus built into the app radio features. Didn't opt for the hd radio (I don't listen to radio only use padora or my collection), xm/sirius satellite, or any of those add ons.
Problem with Garmin is the cost. Most of the units that use it need updated maps that cost money. Using a head unit that has built in interface for using google maps you never have to update.
Lol. That wasnt my intention at all. I was trying to point out that you can get one with a bunch of options for less if you pick and choose what is important to you as far as bells and whistles go.All I see here is "my d**k is bigger than your d**k"
Just playinnnn

Gotta love how cops think its okay to drive unsafelyNot sure if I was trolling the po-po, or the po-po was trolling me
Dude apparently didn't like me getting on it a little from about 5-40mph but not WOT, so he pulls up next to me...but it's 2am and I have 3% tint
so he yanks it behind me to where I couldn't even see his headlights, so up went the e-brake a little lol.
Dude was tailgating me for the next .5-.75mi when I pulled in to get food and he pulled into the gas station next to dominos and blacked himself out.
Was a little let down when he didn't pull out after me when I left, just eyef***ed me.
Would've been funny to see what his reason was for stopping me considering I didn't do anything wrong. Ah to be a yellow car on an empty road
