They all have exaggerated parts.

The only flaw I can really call on 6, is that whole 20 minute runway scene. The movies are a joke to begin with, so you take them lightly. But even that was insane

What about when Dom flies like 60-80 mph into a windshield and he just walks away with no scratches or limp?

Highlighted it.

Opening sequence in TF&TF, not to mention whole story line
Opening sequence in 2F2F, and whole story line
All of Tokyo Draft
F&F, again, whole story line
F5, skydiving off ginormous bridge into water and not a cut? Among the longest 80mph few hundred feet of track before bridge sequence ever
F&F6, whole story line

They're just movies, they are to entertain....and bring in money, both of which they do well.
How many other live-action movies can think of with worse acting and story lines, but don't get as much flack as the Fast series?

Watching Summer of Sam for like the 3rd time in a couple weeks. Don't know why I like this movie so much.

Have to pick up a M12x1.25 tap in the morning to chase one of the caliper mounting bolts on the GS. I swear nothing has been a simple job on the cars lately. Can't wait until I have it squared away so I can dissect the integra. Which by the way I drove for the first time in like 3 weeks, fired right up and drove like champ.

I was adding into the part that a 60-80 mph crash into a windshield was a flaw not an exaggerated part. Another thing, myself saying I couldn't get into a movie because of its flaws is a statement, and of course I understand its a movie and it's purpose.

Went to parents for lunch and to grab a few things. On the way back I hit 50k in my '11 CRV.. Bought it a year and just over a month ago with 27k. Hate putting ~23k miles in a year on it but glad it's a Honda.. Probably put about 20k in about the same time on my '99 Civic last year which is at 176k now and still going as strong as new.

What about movies like transformers? Fast and furious gets you but cars that turn into robots (10 times their size) don't? Lol.

The point with transformers is that they are supposed to do that.
The matter at hand was Fast and the Furious movies. The thing with the first one that I fell in love with so much was that it was somewhat real. Not many things exaggerated. Then more exaggerations came and all that jazz. Point being I like the first, third, and fifth movies in this series the rest are ehhh IMO.

That's a nice gauge cluster. If you stay on top of schedule maintenance and don't neglect the car, it should last you for a very long time.

Time to play catchup! Haha

I'm just pissed off that I'm a grown woman and I apparently can't make my own decisions. I also am a people pleaser (to those I love and my clients) so I really don't like people being mad.
You had to know something like this was going to happen when you bought that bike. They're deathtraps, no matter how fun they are (I want a CB550 to cafe out, so I understand where you're coming from). My parents hated the fact that I had a turbo integra, and that thing wasn't even that fast! I told my mom I wanted a bike, and she told me I was dumb. My dad, on the other hand, was like "hell yes" haha.

How long did you abstain?
From?

Well was dead set on air and wheels but I'm starting to look at small houses in town now in the 75-100k range. Not sure what I want to do though

Get a house! Take your time, as others have said. Small/cheap or not, that's an investment you're going to be stuck with for some time. Make sure it's something that's worthwhile!

I get heartburn from f***ing anything and it's annoying lol. Even from drinking too much water, which is just plain stupid!

I usually eat a Tums or two and I'm good for the night though. I get the knockoff ones, like 100 for $2.

Speaking of, it's $1 beers and $.55 wing night at the bar. Gotta love Thursdays
The statement in bold is part of the problem! ;)
Adjusting my diet made all the difference in the world, seriously. Also, yes, Tums were amazing when I would get bad heartburn.

Haha love this thanks option. Obviously you can make your own decisions otherwise you would have to be a vegetable. Having heard from many motorcyclists the question of if you are going to have a wreck is near obsolete. The main real questions are when it will happen and how bad.
Truth!

The first F&F movie was an entirely different team directing/producing it. The first one came out in 01, and I was still in High School. I remember hearing stories from people in our race scene (Ontario, CA. One of the biggest street racing scenes in the US back in the early-mid 2000's) saying that there were dudes scoping out the races, saying they were part of a movie crew, but wouldn't specify what movie. Apparently, it was some of Rob Cohen (original director)'s lackies doing on-site research for the movie. Makes sense!
The sequels were all about cash grabbing. The original was meant to sort-of stay true to the roots of what that scene was like. Even so, they are still movies, and should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, you've gotta entertain the masses if you want to stay relevant and make that $$$!

Went to the bar Saturday. Got trashed. Brought some girls back with me and my boys. I don't remember much after I got home, but I know at some point I slipped away and passed out in my room. Woke up Sunday with a ginormous hangover, and just lounged around the whole day. I've really gotta tone it down on drinking.. can't drink like I used to lol.
Eyeballing project cars, since tax season is right around the corner... hmm.. Integra, which I know like the back of my hand, or RWD car like a 240sx? Decisions..

Tokyo I meant how long did you abstain from spicy food?
Ah gotcha. I chilled on spicy food for a few months. After that, I just dove in, and have been fine since (I love Thai food, particularly hot ass curry haha). All has been well so far!

Now I really want curry....
Right? I legitimately want some now..

Eyeballing some EJ1's on Craigslist right now, as well as a few EJ8's. If I get enough back on taxes, I may end up with a project car. I need to get wrenching again!

I think I'm gonna chill on the spicy food until I go to Cancun in June or July and then just get into it.

I was not in a good mood last night so I went on a long ride through Seattle. It was so nice with how quiet it was. It wasn't even that cold out. I felt way better afterward.

My uncle had bled my brakes and installed a phone charger on my bike for me  He's going all out on that thing!
