I'm currently a Systems Admin for a smaller company (bordering on medium). I've been here two years now, but there is zero room for growth, so I need to go. I actually had a contract position I could have taken for NASA/Lockheed Martin, but it was only 6 months with zero chance of permanent hire, so I passed on it in lieu of this position. Would have looked awesome on my resume! hahaThat's currently what I do. I started two weeks after graduating college and will be here for two years next month. I love it. Not much room to grow within this company, but it's perfect so I can stay 3 years or so and apply for jobs looking for more experience. I'm thinking Lockheed Martin or General Dynamics. I had my foot in the door at GD for a systems engineering co-op, so I think that's a possibility. LHM I applied for years ago and got a second interview -- enough for them to fly me down to DC, but in the end they wanted someone with a couple years experience. I was still in college at that time.
Yeah so did I. She contacted me again, taking things very slow, but feelings are surely there. Neither of us can help it. This is just throwing a massive wrench in the gears. Not sure what to think right now. She's gung-ho about re-enlisting.Thought you were done with her?
