I left my phone at home for like 8 hours today. Felt pretty good
244 pics and I don't even know many minutes (not a lot) worth of video footage to go through from hanging with the Goldrush Rally boys today
Yep, alternator. Just went through this earlier in the week with the EM2.He was driving and battery light came on for a second, then a little while later the radio turned off, he kept going and then the whole thing just died and now it just makes a clicking noise when he tries to start it, he tried popping the clutch but no dice

Yep it was indeed the alternator, wasn't anywhere near as expensive as we were quoted for the celica though thank god, I think last time it was at a shop though so that's gotta be the difference
Now if only we could get civic #1 working and then everything would be golden
What else is wrong?

I'm not sure, civic number 2 is now up and running with a new alternator but civic #1 still stalls out immediately after starting it
Replaced the spark plugs and it fixed it for like an hour and then it went right back to stalling right away :/

Ran a 5k this morning then continued to pressure wash my driveway. Trying to figure out dinner now.
Sounds like a fuel issue. Check your fuel pressure. And check for spark as well. You need to have fuel, air, and spark, so something is cutting out. Clogged fuel filter is a possibility

Yeah spark is good so it very well may be fuel related (or air, or compression? Is that one of the things?)
Fuel pump primes with the key on accessory right? I tried listening for it when I was cranking it but I couldn't hear anything over the cranking sound and the radiator fan that's always on thanks to a paper clip being stuck in the switch haha (also I'm not entirely sure I know what it would sound like)
Also is it true that if you unplug the wiring harness thing from the map sensor and it starts then that's the problem?

Work went by quickly today as soon as the rain cleared up. Then there was a block party on my street and met most of my neighbors this afternoon. Had a few drinks and got sunburned again. I'm gonna sleep good tonight!
