finally sorted out my stupid antivirus. AVG was killing my loading times.

I brought home work, all 8 schools worth. I feel like a totally awesome PC nerd though right now b/c I remote connected. lol

i had been using it. the last update just made my login and logout things take more than a minute when normally it takes seconds. so i uninstalled the program. might dl an old version of it but i;m on some trial for avast net security now.

Nothing. Its our only car, so Im looking into buying another cash that way the wife can have her ride to get her around (Hybrid) and I can have one to get me around/play with...

For the most part, yes. I just bought insurance with Progressive. I figured I would support the company that signs my checks lol...

have you ever used ccleaner? its a great program to use in parallel with AVG or any antivirus. (i use both). ccleaner is a great program that helps you clean out unwanted files and clean up your registry which may free up some ram and help your computer run a little better. once installed there are some tools with it you can use where you can turn off certain startup processes. i had the same issue until i turned off the AVG startup processes and now my computer boots up fast again

on another note some of these noobs need to stop creating dumb threads and buy a damn chilton's already. or friggen google. if someone makes another "what is the torque spec for ...?" im going to throw my computer across my cubicle suite
