Last day of work at this job. Been spending a lot of the wrapping up paperwork, saying bye to people, program manager bought Moe's for our department + others but also to say bye to me, sent more bye e-mails out...lol. Sad day

when i dislocated my shoulder and went to the ER i waited maybe 15 mins until i was admitted to a room. 5 mins later they shot me up with demarol to kill the pain. 5 mins later they took my shirt off and x-rayed me. 10 mins later the x-rays were developed and the dr. diagnosed that it was indeed a dislocation. 5 mins later they popped it back in. then they sent me on my way with a sling and dispersment forms.
i have a co-worker from Canada who was asking me how long i waited in the ER. he said he couldn't believe how much better it was here than in Canada, and he explained that the last time he went to the ER in Canada he waited for hours. I'd rather pay for much better, quality healthcare.
And besides, your socialized healthcare is not free. You pay for it in the long run through income taxes. They government already taxes 25% of my salary, I'd rather it be that than 35%.
its pretty well-known that socialized healthcare decreases the overall quality of the healthcare provided.

$150 off each check? Either a) you don't make much, b) you still live at home with the parents, and/or c) you're still in school.
I have friends in Canada... its 35% once you hit the real world.
