dome and trunk huh? yea. i've thought of throwing one in the dome. It seems like my hatch was suppose to have one in the trunk/cargo area. there's a plugged port there. but i actually threw a lens and housing in the opening, got it off a friends CRX, popped right it, just needs to be wired.

and as for the cluster light being bright and shinny over the gauges, yes. it probably would be. But i was talking about the bulbs inside the cluster.

I swapped mine to white L.E.D. a couple years ago. I love 'em!!


Drove...er raped this today for a while. Had to run a part to a customer and normally we have a lot kid do it but needed to make a personal delivery and pick up a check from a shop for a prepayment on an order and didn't trust one of the kids. This needed a test drive and a thrashing to duplicate a possible problem.

All in all not too impressed with the Boxster. Could be faster for what it is a 997.2 Turbo would have been a lot more fun, but it corners like nothing I have driven thus far other than a GT3 so that was F.U.N.!!

No, it's perfect. It's not the lights above, it's behind the gauges.

so.. you like the regular bulbs better then the leds? I've seen pictars online, but eh, that's just picstars.

I prefer LEDs.

Got to work an hour early today, and have already inhaled my lunch. I think the man and I are going to head to the track tonight for test n tune!!

Having bright bulbs shine in your face will look nice, but will actually hinder your vision at night time. It's much safer to just stick with the regular bulbs.

A lot of new cars have factory LEDs in the dash/sometimes entire car. LEDs create less of a glare. I could see better w/ LEDs in my old cluster vs regular bulbs in my new cluster.

doesn't look too bad. the trailer was actually kind of interesting.

like Jose1027 said up there ^ some of the videos floating around from cartels and from the middle east will probably make people lose their lunch or wish they had never watched them. It's one thing to watch a movie but when it's actually real it's a whole different thing.
