subie t-stats are not very hard, but they are in the water pump, which is behind the belt covers... there isn't much clearance up front so it can be quite a squeeze... we usually take off the radiator when working on the front-facing side of the engine.

and as a subie person... i like everyone =)

you're going to regret that... student loans suck :(
I'm well aware, but my wife makes to much for me to qualify for grants, I haven't gotten any scholarships, and my GI Bill wont cover the full amount. What they do cover will be refunded to me, which is going to a savings account and is going to be my first payment.

I estimate my first payment is going to be between 20 and 25 grand.

I've played the student loan game before and already paid them off once, so it's nothing new

Wow. I barely know anyone in here anymore.. jeez.

Maybe a good washing is in store, and then taking my girlfriend out for a birthday dinner. Other than that.. nothing..

I want to fall asleep at my desk, but I can't b/c the AC is out in the office. That and my boss may not like that.

I currently work at a dog kennel. The hours n pay r good but I'm fed up with how this place is being ran. I voiced my opinion n nothing is being done about it

Well the first loan payoff was only a year and half of online school so it was like 9 grand.

I just hope, and I should qualify for the post 9/11 GI Bill to pay my school close to 25 grand in a year. According to the paperwork they should but that doesn't mean squat

So suck it up? You have a job, a lot of people don't. Man, society is so different now. My dad has had the same job for the past 24 years. Does he like it? Hell no. But he knows it pays his bills and keeps the family afloat.

I'm gonna suck it up until I find something else. Imba carpenter by trade n that's something I want to get back into. Its also hard to find a good construction job cause of the economy. I'm tired of working these bull s**t jobs that mean nothing to me. I also miss having the union on my back when something happens

While this is true, I hardly believe that it is the best way to live life. We live in a brilliant time when we can actually pursue jobs we enjoy. We spend about 25% of our week at our jobs. Why not make it more than a paycheck? If you're unhappy 25% of your working life, it's going to carry over to the rest of your life. Doing something you love is one of those things that can greatly improve your quality of life (and the quality of life of those around you, also).

Trust me, I agree. But in times like this where jobs are still hard to come by, you stick with it. I HATED retail for the 2 years I was in it due to the economy.

Personally I'd love a kennel job. I volunteer, but then again..the organization I'm with is very good. My life long goal is to start my own shelter some day.

I've worked retail for 6 and half years, thankfully most of that was learning IT Security/Engineering (Network Security and Programming, Computer Science etc.). I hate retail. I currently work for a media storage company as the IT supervisor. Kind of hate it. I make okay money, but this is no way to live. I don't have time to do anything, very little social life, and EVERYTHING revolves around my work, which is in a company I know is going to collapse at some point (they run it like idiots...). I'm going to open my own business. If I fail, I fail. At least I tried. I think people get stuck in a "I have to do this to survive" mindset. If you've got kids, that's one thing. I'm a single adult, with no kids. I can take risks, and I'm going to. I have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. People need to understand that great success doesn't come without risks. You HAVE to take risks in order to become successful.

I never thought I'd work where I would have to deal with customers all day long, but I absolutely love my job 110%, even through the ups and downs. I think what's just as important, if not more, than liking your job, is liking the environment... Co-workers, relationships with them, atmosphere, etc. If you can't stand just being at work, you probably should find another job if you can lol. I love being at work. I'd live there if I could. I love everything I do.

Worked 11:30-5 today, gonna get my fatass on and eat tons of junk food, stay up late, play video games and watch movies. I got tomorrow off and a friend wants to hang out.
