I saw this yesterday.

That's the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, and it is IMO one of the ugliest if not the ugliest new car you can buy. It reminds me of the Pontiac aztek. This Jeep is gonna be a failure and its gonna be in need of redesign in the next 2-3 years.

Just got back from looking at a civic. Piece of s**t. Walked away from that.

Almost every car out there now needs a redesign, with a baseball bat.

Restoring one of my headlights right now. I actually have to buff and polish the inside of the lens :( back to the oven my headlights go. Might make an "ass" cake for my boyfriends birthday today. Then out to dinner and I get to be all dolled up!

Any tips on restoring headlights? I've read through all the DIYs.

"ass" cake? You better just cover your bare naked ass in whipped cream.

I did mine with 400, 800, 1000, and 1200 grit sandpaper. Wet sand with all of them. Then, use Plast-X, and seal em with a light coat of caranuba wax, buffed. If your headlights aren't pitted badly, and are just yellow and hazy, skip the 400 grit. A claybar may also be a good idea after sanding, but before Plast-X and polishing.

What about just normal wax? Does it have to be caranuba?

Normal wax is fine. I actually used Turtle Wax. Mine are shot, though lol.
One more question, for polishing would a microfiber rag work fine with the polishing compound?

That is a good idea. But seriously, what material should I use for the polishing compound? I don't have the drill attachment.

that's an easy question.

have your bf do it.
Nope. He's at work and I've needed to do this for a long time.

I have to do the inside of the lens too :???: And I can't get the housing out!

Do you have to have plastic polish too?
