played horse with my lil bro now just laying here with my lady watching crossfit games and watched this vid on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m_sd4tjXms
Nice car, but that guy is an idiot.

Anyways, took my brother to the doctor, and going to mcdonalds soon. Been shopping around online looking for the lowest prices for brake rotors and pads, seems like I won't be paying less than $80.

Getting ready to leave the office with my co-workers to head to the Cards/Reds game - should be a good one! YAY for company funded booze and food!

Congrats, Alex!

After watching my brother-in-law rebuild my sister's entire friggin engine in a week, by himself (mind you, she has an 02 GT Mustang, so big ass V-8), I've been inspired to finish at least replacing and cleaning up my Civic. I started doing work on it, and now he wants to turn it into a project at their house (dude is a trucking owner/operator, and has a huge assortment of tools, including air tools, a paint booth, pretty much everything other than a lift). Will start working on this coupe again, or so it seems.

I want to get my motorcycle license, but there's two problems. I don't have a bike, and my mom and girlfriend don't want me to because they think motorcycles are dangerous. Most accidents are caused by idiots in cars.

Ordered my brake rotors and pads. Hopefully will be able to install them tonight.

You have a friend that is willing to teach you? Or you can take a riding course that may have bikes you can use. I lucked out because my boyfriend just bought his own bike and he learned on his best friends '83 Honda CB550. Then I got to learn on the CB.

And I understand about the whole "parents don't like bikes thing". My dad being a very protective dad and a paramedic scraping those guys off the road, it's going to be really s***ty when the time comes to tell him. My mom had her endorsement though (I learned this at the bar with her the other night ) and I asked my grandpa on my dad's side what I should do about it. And he just said, "You're an adult you can do what you want." Also my boyfriends arguing point is if I'm going to be riding on his bike with him, I need to have my endorsement in case something happens to him and he can't ride. :what:

Bikes have always been in my extended family. My uncle's have always had them. My favorite uncle ALWAYS had one when I was little and he would take me on rides. Ever since I was little little I've wanted a sportbike. I wanted a Ninja for the longest time  It was inevitable. And I seem to have this knack for motorized vehicles. Cars.... bikes.... planes..... etc.

I do have a friend who has a honda bike, not sure what kind though. It'll probably be something I'll do when I'm a little older and out on my own.

Be prepared, it's scary at first (I never rode dirtbikes or anything) then it's SUPER addictive.

Shot a 60 this morning while my friend shot a 52. Not bad for my 2nd time. I got progressively worse as I continued . My first 4/5 holes, it took me like 4-6 swings. Then the holes started getting more difficult (green up on top of a hill, shorter distance holes, trees and s**t in the way, L shaped holes...) and I got all sorts of messed up...got all frustrated and started pounding the ball. Definitely fun though. We're going again next week but want to try 18 holes elsewhere.

I think knowing how to drive stick/ understanding how a clutch works with the throttle makes all the difference.

That's exactly what one of my co-workers said. He said he's been riding for a really long time (grew up dirt bikes I think) and said it really helps if you know how to drive a manual car already. I've only ever owned a manual so I'm hoping that will give me a huge head start on learning how to ride.
