Yeah girl! I'm trying to get ahold of either a Yamaha XS650 or a CB550/650 to convert to a cafe. I have a few friends doing it now, and they are making me want one. Finding good starter bikes is hard as hell out here, though.
Is it a lot of fabrication? This one is mint.

Both bikes have huge aftermarket support, so as long as the frame and fairings are in good shape, that's all I'm concerned with. I'd rather have a complete bike that needs work (i.e. engine is seized, but everything is there, won't kick over, needs electrical work etc.), as I can get it for a steal (example: my good friend Greg just got his CBR550 for friggin $250! Everything is there, it just won't start, and needs a lot of electrical work). I want to restore every little detail from the ground up anyway, so none of that matters.

It just sounds like a lot of work but when I look at it it doesn't look like it should be...

I was doing a little research on it.

I haven't learned enough about bikes to really judge it. I tend to just throw myself into things and learn as I go haha.

An hour and a half left until I'm freeeee for three days. Looking forward to this weekend like crazy. Going to do a lot of work on the coupe this weekend.

Well, I was watching 'Manhunt' on CNN, until this guy had to keep saying 9-1-1.
No, it's a f***ing date. 9-11, as in, 9-11-2001, or september 11th, 2001. not the number you call to get LEO/EMS.

So yeah, computer it is for now lol

Ex just msg'd me on FB. In Dubai otw back from South Africa.
Kinda happy to see that, until you scroll up and see messages from last summers s***storm that kinda reinforce the term 'ex' :/
I need to get these pics edited and go for a drive

Seeing messages from an ex is the worst. They have that title for a reason though.

About to make a late night Walmart run.

We're on good terms now, for the most part. Last summer was hell though, that's for damn sure.

Nevermind. She's pissing me off right now bombarding me with relationship questions as if I've given it ANY thought over the past couple weeks.

Looking through CNN's photo coverage of the tornado. Jeezus.

Not only am I glad I don't live in Illinois anymore, but it really kinda motivates me to get the Miami business going so I can make money faster, get the truck I want, and no longer have to work a 9-5.
Be on my own schedule so if another event like that happens within a reasonable distance, pack a bag and hop on the road to go help in any way possible.

Had a mostly great day today, except for one little derailment. Hung out with a few friends, and ended up having my damn right front tire blow out driving down a street to which I have no clue why. Good thing I had a steelie sitting in the hatch and my scissor jack to get me back on the road. I'm hoping I didn't crack or bend the rim. After we got it all fixed, went to the mall, and then went to a road called Constitution Drive that is on the mountain here and is supposedly haunted and heard a bunch of weird s**t and saw some things.

Other than my tied blowing out, today was a good day. Got work tomorrow at 7 and then gonna figure out what to do from there. Hoping the weather clears soon. It got extremely cold all of a sudden. Went from 80 degrees to 40 overnight.

Property management, sales, license holding, training, etc.

Have an office in Ft. Myers and Miami. Looking to expand over the next couple years to cover the whole state.
Then I want to grab some property here in Tallahassee around FSU, Orlando around UCF, Tampa around UCF, Miami around FIU, and possibly around FGCU in Estero/Ft Myers and turn them into student rentals because schools obviously aren't going anywhere so it's guaranteed income as long as your tenants don't burn the place down being stupid.

Oh, wow. That's awesome.

Yeah. That's true. Good choice for property. I love the idea of renting out property. It's always spiked my interest.

I'm seriously counting down every hour until I'm out of here. VAACCAYYYY.

Also, I'm thinking about buying the CB550 I've been riding and turning it into a cafe racer... Hmm...
I'm looking at getting a 250 ninja =)

Beginner bike :P

So stoked! Rode around my friends neighborhood on his ninja and I'm in love :P I can flat foot, it's way lighter than I thought it would be and it's super maneuverable so it makes me more confident/comfortable. I also like the seating position. It's more upright and less aggressive/ bent over.
