At least you didn't have Hot August Nights or Street Vibrations...NOFX said:Ah yes... NASCAR... One of the thigs that did suck about Dover, DE... You couldn't turn off NASCAR there. I could hear it at our house. Plus you had to deal with the pedestrians that would flow onto the highway and walk against traffic in one whole lane (turnig it to only two lanes) when we have heavier traffic because NASCAR is having an event.
well, mr. won't-sign-into-yahoo-anymore, hot august nights is better than nascar.Revolver said:At least you didn't have Hot August Nights or Street Vibrations...
that's sick. i hope to never live in a place like that. why be obsessed with something like that?NOFX said:After all that NASCAR... I'd prefer it.
Seriously, NASCAR shuts Dover down almost. When the race is going on, you can drive through town and there are almost no cars. All the race fans are in the stadium and all the locals are holed up at home with no reason to leave since they stocked up on milk and bread before Race Weekend started.
You always say you like Carson, but you sure complain about it a lot.Revolver said:Street Vibrations (5 days in September) - 40,000+ people. Tens of thousands of loud ass f**king Harley's. Thank god today is the last day.
Hot August Nights (1 week in August) - 800,000+ people.
The Reno/Sparks is not very big.
