Ah yes... NASCAR... One of the thigs that did suck about Dover, DE... You couldn't turn off NASCAR there. I could hear it at our house. Plus you had to deal with the pedestrians that would flow onto the highway and walk against traffic in one whole lane (turnig it to only two lanes) when we have heavier traffic because NASCAR is having an event.

Seriously, NASCAR shuts Dover down almost. When the race is going on, you can drive through town and there are almost no cars. All the race fans are in the stadium and all the locals are holed up at home with no reason to leave since they stocked up on milk and bread before Race Weekend started.

Dover is VERY small. The actual populated area (where all the NASCAR fans are too) is only a matter of a couple of miles long. We only have a population of 32,000 some odd.

Reno/Sparks, NV = 241.7 km²
Dover, DE = 58.8 km²

I'm not listening to any music right now though. Just MythBusters.
