I'd steer clear of black though. While it looks good clean and new, it will be more of a pain to take care of than a paler color since every scratch will show up more than it would on another color.

It's possible to "fix" (hide) a lot of lighter damage, but regular driving and washing will even damage it in time.

I theorize that's why so many photos of black cars are in shadows and not direct light.

That really goes for any really dark color though. Like navy blue colors.

I still say he should look into some overseas colors though. JDM paint job.
