yea its all about the driver.. my 99 civic si beat my friends 01 gsr, but were both pretty damn good drivers... 20 mph role.. i think he shifted to early 2nd and 3rd gear.. sounded like it

few nights ago i went out to the local meet up spot dunrin the night i ran a:
-92 4dr with GSR swap and beat him by about a half a car
-03 lexis is300 from a 40 roll
-new tc, but thats nothing to special
-and the new si

so i guess it depends on the driver

The GSR has full bolt-ons(w/out header), intake manifold, adjustable cam gears, pullies, short shifter and anything else you can think of. But it also has 8:5 compression. We ran both cars and the Si won by a car.

the username umair is my poser brother who was claiming that the Si will be faster with bolt-ons, hence he is encouraging the flame fest. I don't have pictures of the Si, but the GSR is for sale currently.

Call the phone number and ask for nomie if you have a hard time believing that I own the car. The car is setup for a turbocharger, thats the last thing that needs to be done. I purchased the car modded, so I dont have experience what a stock motor GSR feels like hence the reason I created the thread.
