What Kind of Intake Should I Get?

I was thinking of getting an Intake for my Civic But I'm not sure which kind should I get I was told an AEM was a good one is there any others? Or should I stick with an AEM Like I was told?

any intake tube is goin to do the same thing whether or not you are gonna spend 250 bucks for 20 bucks... throw a KnN filter on the tube and youre set...

yeah, it's not like they're gonna give you mad speed you know. it's does help a little bit, but i seriously think that it's mainly for engine dress up

I was quoted about $163.00 for the AEM Intake is that about right? I'm thinking of getting an intake next month but I wasn't sure if the price if right for that or if this is an average cost for it?

since you live in Cali too...AEM would be your best bet because its Carb Exempt, legal or whatever...

im glad my lady doesnt get on here, although she too owns a civic... she would kill me for even talking cat stuff anymore because of all of the school stuff that ive gotta pay for...


JayVee, check ebay man... a regular old intake will work and do the same thing as the 163 dollar one from AEM... just like 133 bucks cheaper..

Get the AEM, you won't be disapointed. Forget the cheapo intakes, AEM is dyno proven, why skimp, when you can have the best.

dude... ANY tube does the same thing... it just happens to be that AEM has ripped enough people off to afford to do dyno tests.... think about it... just put a KnN filter on a tube and call it a day
