having a big bore/stroke is not safe. especially have one over 1.9l on a b series. once you are over 1.9 then you have to resleeve the block. having a 2.0 will increase the chance of the block crack. you probably wont even get to 5k miles before the block crack because of the space of the cylinder walls. stroking an engine as much as a 2.0 is only for drag. stroker kits are not cheap at all. they run atleast $3k or more depending on what crank, rods or pistons you want. dont forget that you also have to check the block clearance, head work and clearance. i guessing total would be about $10k or more just for the motor.

eagle rods makes a kit to do it for $1,950.00 tru about how long the motor well last thoe it does make the wall pretty thin maby a 1.8L kit well be good

its a waste of money to get a b16 to stroke it into a 1.8. i think your better off getting a b18 block because its already a 1.8. if you are building from ground up, buy a DART b18 block.

what happened to the 100 shot of nawzzzz you were bragging about in the intakes thread? and how did you tuned that ems, what were your dyno results?

im asking to see what you all think and i took the 100 shot out and out the 75 in yesterday night and you tuen the ems with a laptop havent gone to a dyno yet give me your e-mail address and i well and i well send you pic i cant get them to show up on hear and i am sposered so y you got to talk s**t on every thred im on stop hatting me cuz your jelous of what i got and you wish you had it

no dyno? so you saying, you put e-manager, hondata, and aem ems and not a single dyno. how are able to tune it correctly without a dyno. plus your horsepower is way off, for a 14.8 1/4 miles. high 14s whp is about 150. and your trap speed is way too high. most low 13s second cars are barely about 105 trap speed. most 110 trapspeed cars are doing 12s. your car is high 14s and a trap speed of 110? something smells fishy

idk im just guessing about that cuz i beat a turbo 93 hatch and it run 14.98 or sumthing like that i beat him by like 1 1/2 cars so thats just a guess same with the horse power and you dont need a dyno to tune a car
