yeah i would say don't turbo it. instead get some better cams, cylinder heads, headers and exhaust. it might better hold you off till you get a swap
lol thought about nos but not sure...i dont know my s**t enough for that..already have fullexhaust and headers. I wanna turbo it badly, but i dunno...img onna swap it soon either a k20 or h22,,thought about a b20..

i wouldnt do much with an auto. swap into stick first then think about engine swaps. plus based on your choices of engines above...i would say read a bit more and set some concrete goals. those engines you listed are all across the power spectrum and especially all across the money spectrum.honestly, for now id rather keep my car auto until i actually do a full swap. I wanna bost it now to have some fun and later down the road when i have enough saved i wanna do a k20a swap or a b20 or a b16 just dont have that cash for the engine and then the labor. So i know ill go to manual, but im staying auto tranny until i swap it..so whats the recommendations?
and how in the hell do i find out for sure if its vtec, doesnt have vtec on the motor head like most do

Get yourself a d16 and prep it for boost. ie..forged internals. Good power goals and fairly cheap to build.
