your refering to dlstechnique i believe. he was here a long ass time ago, and hasnt been back in like 9 months. he had a hell of a lot more than i/h/e, he had a full head package- p&p head, intake manni, a big cam, shaved head, throttle body and chipped ecu in addition to the i/h/e.

you made 143whp? your motor is a dx correct? im not familiar with sohc motors. but the dx motor is about 85-90whp. you gain over 50whp with little bolt ons? im not sure if you didnt set it right, or position it right no the window. i dont think its correct. with the mods you have. you may hit 16.1 but not 15.1

the gtech is accurent, but you need to realize that if the weight input is wrong, so will your readings. if you put the wieght too high, the gtech reads the g-force you pull and think a huge vehicle is moving that fast, so it must have a lot of power. the closest 'guess' you can make is to take the gross wieght and subtract 180/passenger not in the vehicle. so if you have a 5 passenger car and want to run it alone, subtract 720lbs from the gross. and its best to run in first and second gear. what i did when i ran it was select 2nd gear and just hammer it until redline.

and what's with all the f**kin hate? why the hell would i lie about that? it would be retarded, and for the most part, would in no way improve my car or my driving if i were dishonest with myself. i had the weight set at 2650 lbs which is approximately the weight of a stock 6th gen dx (2388), my body weight (200), and my subs and box (75). The car was on flat surface, the gtech was properly mounted and calibrated. I don't understand how the temperature could have affected the accelerometer, but in any matter, it is around 20 degrees farenheight outside. I'll post pics tomorrow.

no one is saying your lying, its just that your gtech is not showing the correct numbers. its really hard to believe you would put those kind of number of whp and 1/4 with your mods. but no one knows who correct unless you really time your car.

:werd: ...racecarl, we arent calling you a liar or saying your a dumbass, we just think you set up the gtech wrong or its broken..there is no way you got 143 ho from those mods, maybe at the crank but not at the wheels.

the accelerometers in the gtec pro version do not self adjust for temperature (the competition version does) they are designed to run around room temperature. i live in FL, so i havent experienced it with cold weather, but i can say it becomes inaccurate when its real hot.

^gtechs are great. the only time you have to do something is if you want horsepower (gotta input weight) but for 0-60, 60-0, or 1/4mile time and speeds, you just mount it, plug it in, and go. you will like it if you get it!
