i wanna see this s2k!! i love them. and you will gain very very little. next to nothing, it would end up being mostly for looks and sound, which to me is worth it in the end. honestly, there is a lot of peole selling nice civics on here. should look there, i wish i would of
well i'm all about the sound. I absolutely love loud exhausts. But, I wanna back that sound up too. As far as S200, i'll try and find a couple pics. But, there is show car pics from when it was all show. And there is also track car pics, completely gutted like it is now. So, pick your poison and i'll try and find pics.

well with a non turbo d series, you cant back up a thing. its slow and more slow. but hmm, can i choose both? i like that multiplier effect. super screwed

Well, I guess it seems like i'm in a predicament. And i'll try and find some car show pictures seeing as those are from way back when. But, i'll put up track pics tomorrow.

ok sounds good. but yeah. what you could do, is what im doing. make it look nice and sound nice for now. prep it for turbo with things such as exhaust. then build a motor that is ready to handle a turbo on the side, since d series parts you can find pretty cheap. i find thiis to be best for a DD since you can drive your car everday and when your ready, just throw that motor in. just a idea though

i thought this was a showoff thread? lol jk

turbo'd d series as DD's only last so long. a good B series can last much longer if its taken care of. i'm not saying they'll die quick or whatever, but you could do a swap (or have someone do it) and its generally a lot faster and more reliable than an old d.

just my 2 cents. good luck bro!

im gonna haveta disagree. d series or b series with both last long if built right and tuned right.

yeah. Its all in the tune. i know peole who ran boosted d on factory motors for over three years. built can go longer. it all depends on tune and if you take care of your car. maintenance is key. and he said his boosted d on stock internals was a lot quicker than his built gsr with a 11.7.1 compression. and more fun! lol
