well im not sure if keyless entry is interior or exterior..so w/e. anyway im not sure if this is normal or not...but when i go to unlock my doors with the KE, it sometimes takes about 10-15 presses of the button to unlock it, its such a pain in the ass to stand there for 5 minutes until the doors unlock, honestly i just usually unlock with the key cause it takes so long. im just wondering if theres some kind of sensor or something, i changed the battery in the remote not too long ago, so that cant be it...please HELP :!:

try a new battery again. Sometimes those lil batteries are s**t brand new. The buttons may be wore out. It happens and if thats the case then u need a new remote.

If the factory remote is too pricey just go with an aftermarket alarm. At least you get more protection even if you get a cheap one and you already have the power lock for the keyless entry. I got a quote up here for 260CAD with a tilt sensor!

i say either get a new remote from the dealership or stand a good distance from the car and press the remote (for some ppl that works)

I know if you have fillings in your teeth you can stand further away and hold the remote to you jaw, open you mouth and push the button's and they will work. Yeah this was of no help. I'm sorry. It's prob worn out.

try to take apart the keyless remote thing, and try to clean the board and the buttons, i had a remote that was just dirty untill i opened her up and got out all the dirt and cleaned it, and it now works flawlessly.
