hey man that sounds like a good idea but dont think alot of the people from the dfw will make it out here.would e nice though cause alot of cars chill out on valley mills and would love to represent CC. Cameron park is fun to drive down . and i usually take nightly cruises by the lake.
Yeah... a long time ago, I used to head to Waco to cruise as opposed to Dallas.... because in Dallas, you've got no REAL place to just ride, and show off your ride... but I started going to Dallas when I got old enough to hit the clubs...

But there in Waco, you can cruise the Valley... cops don't bother you... pleanty of other customs on the road.. pleanty of places to stop and eat and show off.
And then Cameron park Dr. and Lake Shore Dr. and other roads around the lake are just f**kin' fun to drive, yo.

By the way... I don't know if all the construction is still going on or not, but last time I went down 35, it was faster to take i45 to Corsicana, and then change to 31 west than to try to go down 35 with all the construction.... although for those of you coming from Arlington and areas west, that's probably too out of the way... but if someone were coming from say, north dallas... it'd be faster to go all the way down 75 to 45 and then in corsicana get on 31 west.

:P 75 south changes into i45 south (basically the same road)... take i45 south all the way until you see a split in the road, it'll say "Right lane Corsicana/Business 45" or something like that... which will take you into the heart of Corsicana (my hood)... there will be three stop lights, first one at the intersection of business 45 and Hardey St., second at business 45 and 1st Ave., third at Business 45 and 4th Ave.... immediately after that is an overpass.. but instead of going over that, you vear right to the street that looks like it goes around it (still going straight though, like you were going to turn under the overpass) the street that goes under the overpass with the stoplights is Hwy 31... take a right, go straight until you hit Waco..... Hwy 31 changes into Hwy 84/Waco Dr. when you hit Waco city limits, but you just stay on it all the way through until you come to the intersection of Valley Mills Dr. and Waco Dr..... then BAAM, you're at the main drag of Waco... Valley Mills Dr. Immediately to the right, there's a strip mall parking lot where there used to be (can't remember if they're still in buisness or not) a Peter Pipers Pizza place.... nice sized parking lot... easy place to meet up at.

For those of you coming from i35, you can take it all the way around to Valley Mills Dr. (or even exit at Waco Dr.), Exit and go all the way to that intersection, and just past the intersection on the right is the same strip mall :P... see, easy place to meet up at. 8)

I used to live in Waco, and my dad still lives in Waco... so I know my way around pretty good

Salis... if you have any more suggestions or details I've left out... add where needed

Well, I don't even like to think about going somewhere without a good plan :P

Also... I type faster than I talk most of the time... so that little bit was nothing

I'm trying to think where a good place to have a cookout would be though... but I haven't been to Waco in a while, and kinda going blank about that one....

far...? jason comes from coriscana(45mins out of dallas) and for me, i live in south arlington(going into mansfield and i drove all the way to richardson(thats about a good 45min drive too). So its not far, plus thats the fun part about going to meets. Driving in a group with the clubcivic sticker and representin'. Plus Waco is a nice and peaceful place. We can hang out and cruise and who knows maybe chill at erics house since its close to the main strip. :D

ps. JASON IS THE MAPSCO

If you want, you and anyone else coming from Dallas area down 75/i45 could meet me here in Corsicana, and we'll go the end stretch to waco ClubCivic stylin'
