I have the Eclipse 12 inch aluminum and it gets loud as s**t. It will rattle the s**t out of anyone inside my car. You don't really hear it outside unless I have the windows down, I have a pretty good layer of Dynamat on the car.

The fact is if you dont bother to upgrade your alternator it will make no difference at all what subs you go with. We run image dynamics idqv2 fifteens for sq and spl. Both the subs run confortably in a 2.5 cu ft sealed. THEY GET VERY LOUD AND VERY DEEP. Off an 1100 rms amp. I love em and wouldnt trade em for anything
if ur going to look into anything....look into the resonant engineering xxx very loud sub....if you go to http://realmofexcursion.com/videos.html and on the left pick the brand u want...and you can watch what the subs can do!

That statement is the most ignorant statement I have ever heard next to clipping doesnt hurt speakers. All a fifteen has is a lower resonant frequency and more cone area. If placed in a right box with the right amp a fifteen can be the best sounding sub while acheiving high spl.
I will put our system up against pretty much anybodys for a sq match anyday
yea image dynamics is alot sq...sadly mine is all spl hehe....s**t if ur looking for loudness look into 18" woofers....or looks into the 34" by audiobahn lol....
just get one jackhammer.

amps r just as good...but i would suggest there amp for the sub...the best amps to look into are the hifonics....good quality and good price....if u do decide to look into the re xxx....if u get 2 of them....i suggest u to look into the hifoincs bx1500d....and get 2 of them...each will put out 1500 watts rms....which is close to what the sub needs....its a prefect match....
go with 2 15" RE XXX
and 2 hifonics bx1500d

dont you think that two 1500 watt amps is a little strain on the alternator maybe? Just a little. You would need like a 300 amp alternator, which doesnt exist for honda just to run that............................................
