Save the money, put it in the bank, after a while you'll gain intrest and you can have a nice turbo kit.

I'd save up man.... $350 isnt gonna get you much for a sub, box and amp...

Save up and get two 10's or two 12's

I have two 12" audiobahn's in a bandpass box and it's alright but i dont know enough to give you more info on what's better

Save up money though... you'll be happier :D

Well for close to that budget you could get 2 Memphis M-Class 10" subs, a vented box, and a 2x100w memphis power reference amp if you look in the right places. This setup sounds good as hell. Its what i've got in my car. It hits harder and deeper than my buddy's 2-12" Alpine Type-S in a sealed box running 400w apiece.

ive got a box thats for sale. its custom built (by yours truely and my gang of wiley bandits) to fit flush in 6th gen coupes. its cut for 2 10"s and includes an amp stand. its also ported and they fire straight into the rear seats. heres a pic

dont mind my trunk carpet that is unattached on the right. that was my fault. has nothing to do with the box

and btw. the setup i had was 2 10" kicker comps, and a Kenwood KAC-7202 amp. and in this enclosure (built to the exact volume for these subs) it pounded like no other. i was louder and clearer than my friends who had 2 12"s that were almost 3x my wattage.

I bought an Audiobahn bandpass with two 10"s and a Boss amp to push it for right at $300. My car was already wired for it though so I didn't spend any $$$ on that part of it.

nah....ive been into car audio for a lil bit...hifonics make good qualilty but cheap in price amps......for subs....hmm...audiobahn is good for loudness(spl) while not very good sound quality(sq).......good stuff is kicker, jl, memphis, fosgate, others.......yet expensive though......go on ebay.....find a HIFONICS AMP.....and look for some AUDIOBAHN SUBS...that and those volfs above arent to bad....just dont give them more than 500 watts rms each......for only 350 bucks its not too much......wait until ur around 500.....honestly i have a "2400 watt" legacy amp with 2 12" koiiler subs.....nonbrand subs....and cheap amp..but for 150 for the amp and 100 for both subs....you cant beat that..plus it sounds really nice, it hurts ppls ears when i have it up loud...i love it....

I'm in love with JL-all me and my friends have had. started with 2 10w0's then got a 12w6(stolen) now I got a 13.5w1, now I know I should have saved for 2 10w6's that would have fn knocked and had awsome sq

I say go JL-great range of subs-w1's(was w0) are great for the money, and w7's...well I shouldn't have to say anything haha. friend of mine talked to a guy that had 4 12w7's in a tahoe and his foot wouldn.t stay on the brake at redlights. but seriousy, all the JL's I've heard has great sq and loudness if in right box

ImageDynamics, I was in love will JL until I started playing with the ID's. Image just blows JL outta the water. W-7 can't hold a candle to the sq of the ID max. Way impressive. Not to say JL is s**t though. Great subs. JL will always be a leader.
Have two id fifteens in our honda, way impressive sq and db. She will never take a first in a db dragrace, but second place trophies aint bad for a sq setup

ive got an audiobahn q for sale- 12" alum series. its a decent sub had plenty of bass when hooked to me crappy little mtx amp. i hooked it to a kicker 600 by 2 and man that thing bumped. im letting my sub go for 80 plus shipping. u can get either buy a box for 50-80$ or make one for 20'. and then u can buy a hifonics amp. (normally a brutus sells for 200 or more) and u will have a very nice bumping system

I know I'm going to piss some people off with this, but anyways.
What is the deal, Audiobahn, Volfenhag?????
Whats the problem with spending a little more money and getting quality stuff. I wouldn't even put that garbage on a moped. Any company can make a pretty woofer, it's the quality that counts. Audiobahn sounds like pure ass. If you want a powerful sub that actually sounds good and is decent priced buy a Memphis. You even get a little bit of chrome for those of you that need bling on your audio gear.
I just don't get it. With all the options out there, buying that crap is like government cheese.

.

wtf does that have to do with him getting a sub setup? he asked what he could get for <$350, not thoughts on whether or not he should get subs.

anyways, i got 1 10" sub in my trunk, does the job great, and it cost me $150 including the amp. both are MTX, so if you look around, you can probably find a good deal on one. my sub/amp setup weighs about 15-20lbs. not sure if you want serious thumpage (shake your whole neighborhood) or just a little bit, but i think $350 is more than enough for a simple setup, 1x12" sub.
