crappy little mtx amp.
mtx amps are not crappy u just tried to use a low power amp on a rediculously power hungry sub. I agree with snoopy i used to have audiobahns (a 10 and a 15) and they r power hungry crap.

I know I'm going to piss some people off with this, but anyways.
What is the deal, Audiobahn, Volfenhag?????
Whats the problem with spending a little more money and getting quality stuff. I wouldn't even put that garbage on a moped. Any company can make a pretty woofer, it's the quality that counts. Audiobahn sounds like pure ass. If you want a powerful sub that actually sounds good and is decent priced buy a Memphis. You even get a little bit of chrome for those of you that need bling on your audio gear.
I just don't get it. With all the options out there, buying that crap is like government cheese.
meh :what: one man's garbage is another man's treasure.

I installed a Scosche amp last saturday in a friend's car. I wouldn't have used it myself but my friend is pretty pleased with it driving two Kicker Comp 10's. :what:

I mean I get s**t about having Polk Momo sub and rear speakers all the time and for not having a fancy display on my H/U. :???:

I happen to think that my SQ is pretty good and I've proven to be as loud as the aforementioned Kickers with one MM10

I did a custom setup with a custom sealed box for two diamond tens, and a Kennwood 1600 watt amp. I bought the subs new (buy one get one free, look for deals like that on good gear) for a total $150, and my amp used for about $350. My advice is buy some decent subs already in a box (sealed), and invest in an amp that won't let you down. If you have enough watts to push a decent set of subs you will be very satisfied, even though it's hard to spend money on invisible "watts".
