ok. i have a lightly modded 1995 honda civic hatchback.
Mods:
JE pistons(11-1 compression)
Manley conection rods
rebalanced crank
reseated valves:
skunk 2 cam
hid kit, 2500k warmth (yellow)
stock exuast manafold, i grinded out alot of it so it flows better
2 inch exuast tube
no cat
tenzo r racing muffler
automatic transmission, (working on the 5 speed swap)
2 1200 watt mtx subs, and 2 1800 watt pyle amps
Aiwa deck

so my question is, if i wanted to put on some neons, will my car be a ricer? ive always liked the way they look, and there really affordable.

i hate pople who put giant ass spoilers, retarted low body kits, and giant 19inch wheels with rubber bands.

will white neon lights make me rice? i mean my car gets up and goes np, even with a automatic.

i went through this faze back in high school when fast and the furious came out on my sho i can deffinitely say you will enjoy them temporarily but soon after a bulb will break and it goes from coolish to gay real quick.

My advice from a "scene" standpoint is that the look is dated. No one really does that anymore.

My advice from a design standpoint is that your build isn't really bold enough to pull it off. You need brighter paint, a flashier bodykit, etc. The F&F look can work, but you really have to go all out.

My advice as a fellow car nerd is the same as everyone else: Do what makes you happy. If you like the way neons look on your car, then by all mean put them on. I wouldn't do it myself, but I won't hate on anyone who's truly doing what they like.

Do it, especially if you like them.
I had purple neon on my s10, it was 50/50 lovers/haters so that shouldn't matter.
Hell, if anyone on the street thinks you're a ricer you've got the go to prove otherwise.
