Alright, so Pt. II turned out bad since not a single person left a reasonably positive comment besides blackhope and another guy (can't remember the name. said "it's getting there).

So, I decided to try something a little different. With **special thanks to BlackHope**, I was able to accomplish what I accomplished today .

So I started off with getting rid of those fugly foglights so the red and white wire weren't in my engine bay anymore:

--------------

I picked this up from Home Depot:

^^ See where I'm going? ;)

--------------

Here's after about an hours worth of work (including foglight delete):

Wait a minute??? The windshield washer fluid tank is still there but where's the hose?!?!

--------------

Ooohhhh!! There it is!!

^^Used the OEM piece from the factory washer fluid tubing

---------------

So does the washer assembly still work????

^^ You betcha!

--------------

And JUST as I finished putting my front bumper and grill on, I had some friendly company to cheer me on as they passed:

--------------

Overall, I am VERY pleased with how this came out. Both the foglight delete and washer fluid tubing re-route cleaned up the driver side TONS.

I also bought clear tubing to replace the black rubber one running from the radiator to the resevoir but it turns out it's just a SMIDGE too small so I have to go back and buy the next size up. Another thing I bought was a big can of flat black rustoleum. Tomorrow, I'm gonna hit up the engine bay with a metal brush, sandpaper, and the flat black can and fix some rust. Also will change the radiator hose.

:thumbs up

looks good thats a realy cool idea, but i wouldent call it a wire tuck. ive seem to notice these wire tucking threads pop up everywhere "not tyring to be rude or anything" but just removing one or two things is not a wire tuck.

Hence why it's called "Pt. III". One part of many parts that will lead me to the final tuck job.

Each time I successfully tuck/hide something, I call it a "Pt. x"

I Plan on switching to SRI once I get a 3rd hole drilled for the vacuum line 99-00 models have, taking a metal brush to rusted stuff, sanding it, then spraying it flat black to get the engine bay to look cleaner, get an aftermarket header possibly, etc. etc. And like I said, tomorrow I'm gonna work on switcing that radiator resevoir tube to a clear one.

Anything to make the engine bay looker cleaner and less clustered.

Actually, when I went to Home Depot this morning, each box that had all the clear tubing in it specifically said "*DO NOT USE WITH ICE MAKERS*.

Looks good mang. I just did the same thing today w/my washer lines. 3 feet or so of 1/4" tubing, at 12 cents a yard, comes to a whoping 51 cents at Lowes. Looking fowards to seeing more, b/c Im in the process of tucking my bay too, so Im looking for ideas too. :thumbs up

I know if I pressure washed the engine bay it'd look better than yours.

But thanks.

you don't have to drill a hole in your short ram, just put it on there and get a mini filter for the vacuum. i have one on my b16. i don't know where you get them but i'm sure if you look you can find them- probly even at autozone or something for like $5. it looks cleaner than the hose too, especially if you're trying to hide wires and hoses. here's a picture of mine

btw: the washer line mod looks good, i'm gonna have to do that.
