Apparently there was a small 2.2 quake earlier today in NY also, before the one in VA happened

We have heavy construction going on RIGHT next to my bank, so a lot of workers thought it was just that. I KNEW it was an earthquake because I was on the phone with a customer who stopped mid sentence to say "We're having an earthquake, I have to go!" and hung up, and as he was saying that, I felt the shaking.

I was also pre-occupied by the bank robbery that happened half a mile from my bank, where the teller was shot.

There are reports of Atlanta and surrounding areas feeling the tremors. My father in law (in ATL) called us today stating his building was shook a bit.

Down here in Augusta GA the local university had several buildings evacuated after feeling the tremors as well.

FB is blowing up for me as well with friends stating it was an odd feeling. What a lot ppl dont realize is that Augusta GA sits o a fault line.

I had to get off the ladder it was shaking so badly. we were working 14 miles from the epicenter. we lost a speaker out of the ceiling. my dad's office has structural damage.
