Ryans Official "Build Up" Thread

So here we go. We're starting the swap Friday night, and hope to be finished by Sunday afternoon. After junkyarding in the rain, searching thru forums for parts, and spending about $300 on parts, Im excited as hell to get this going.

Lessons learned so far:

- 5th Gen Civic pedals/brackets fit in a 6th Gen Civic.
- Find someone who's really short/small to crawl up and unbolt/bolt in the pedal assemblys.
- A 6' 2", 220lbs person dosent fit very well under the dashboard of a Civic
- To get the gas/brake pedal bracket out/in, you have to drop the steering column



UPDATE::

Tranny had a bad input shaft bearing, so while Im trying to get another tranny, Im doing the intake manifold swap, and working on repinning the IACV.

If you have a massivly cheap D-series tranny, please LMK.

Im sure you know this, but you're going to need more than what you listed I had to find that out the hard way, as you're in the same boat I was in a few months ago. You're also going to need some little odds and ends but it sounds like you've got everything covered (hopefully) good luck..

Yea, I know Ill need more than whats listed. I already have the tranny itself, the other linkage is on the way, already have a clutch resevior. What other little odds and ends do I need? (Sorry, Im still asleep. To early for me. )

Rest of the linkage is on the way. Trading it for my OEM grill. How bad is the flywheel? Whats it run to get it resurfaced? Lemme know how much you want for it?
