Block Guard ?

This summer i turboed the Z6 and i am lookin around at parts to build it up even more next year. I was lookin into the block guard or sleeves. I would like to run 20-25 lbs boost and push around 400hp. I searched around honda tech but didnt find much but some people bitchin at each other and not much good info came out of it. Can some one shed some light on this? Thanks

check out aebs sleave and deck combo......the best....especially if running high boost

some might be running a block guard, but its best to have that installed by someone who knows how.

Says its only for the b h and k series....no love for the SOHC. about how much am i lookin at for sleeves? and where can i pick up a decent priced/quality set?

but aebs sleeves are only 600 but prolly another 500 or 600 to get put in

thats more then 1k.
bensons are complete with final hone last time i checked

What are the cons of having a block gaurd over sleeving?

weaker sleeves, block guards can cause hot spots and can cause sleeves(stock) to crack.

i just dont like block guards, i would rather post the block the use a gaurd
