Yes...! I've been doing research about it for the past couple years or so....and now i'm getting serious about it. Everytime I go driving now, I just imagine having a turbo on, hearing it spool and feeling boost.

Planning to have a t3/t4 to a cast manifold that allows to keep A/C. Only wanna run 5 to 6lb's at first...nothing that'll compromise the engine. Finally getting rid of the y7 intake mani as well

Nice man. I've got a t3/t04e 57 trim with a log but the downpipe gets in the way of my compressor so I just pulled it. Oh well it's not totally necessary in NY and MA. I started out with about 5lbs on the stock injectors and when I put in the DSM 450's I bumped it up to 11 or so. It pulls pretty good even with the exhaust leak in between the manifold and turbo

The other concern that just came to mind is the A/C Fan....i've heard that the turbo could cause it to melt...but i'm going to talk to civicex13 (sp?) on here about it since i've noticed he still has A/C and running a decent amount of boost.

A/C is nice but def. not needed. I'd take boost over being cool any day of the week.

Having no A/C isnt all that bad. I dont have it, and havent had it for almost a year. Yea it gets alittle warm sitting at red lights, but once your moving, its not too bad.

I don't use the A/C much personally but my girl loves it (keep the windows up, the wind will mess up my hair, etc.)so just in case, I wanna get a mani that'll allow me to keep the AC.

They have turbo insulators that will keep much of the heat in, they look like a foil bag.

Good to know...I was also thinking of making a custom "heat shield" for it. Something like what i've seen on other setups. Looks pretty clean IMO.

yup, i figured while I have a few things out i'll get the bay as cleaned up as I can.

What manifold are you using, if you don't mind me asking..? You were definitely one of my first inspirations to go boost
