Well yeah if that's a bone stock STI and your 1st mod is a FMIC then you have issue's. We'll wait for expert Tony's advice since he's had his scooby for a few months now he should know.

Only mods the STi has are exhaust and intake from what I know....
If it kills the power any, we can always just replace it with the top mount again anyways right...
It can't really hurt it can it

The front mount if i remember is gonna create turbo lag. There was a Sti around here that had one. Im pretty sure its been sitting on the car lot for months now.

Hmm...I was just readin up on it on the STi forums...They agree.
Boost lag due to increased volume of air.
So I'm gonna tell my buddy we'll do it but he'll be slower. And he needs a bigger turbo.

Yeah unless he totally needs to push that much air, its just gonna lag.
Why did he want a front mount anyway??

Yeah subaru designed to be TM and to work w/the scoop, I wouldn't deviate from OEM design if I didn't have to. There's a reason they did it that way.
