ive been looking around for answer to this question but to no avail. i have a 99si w/ a lsvtec swap. b18b block w/ b16a2 head. i wanna know if the greddy bolt-on turbo kit for the 99-00 si's will fit on my motor?
build it CORRECTLY and its perfectly fine. its just like any other motor, if not done right it will take a s**t on you. its not that hard to do it right.yes, but from what i have heard ls/vtec turbo takes a lot of work to run right.
that pretty much is my current setup. i have the rev limiter set at 8200 rpm, though i rarely take it past 7500. the greddy kit should bolt up perfect. invest in some good tuning and reinforce the block with headstuds and rod bolts and it should be goldenthe best way to make a internally stock lsvtec work is to have the following
arp headstuds
arp rod bolts
gsr girlde/windage tray/pickup tube/main cap bolts/oilpan
golden eagle lsvtec kit
thats it. oil squirters arent really needed, especially with forged pistons.
BUT, this sounds like he already has a lsvtec and this thread is about a turbo kit fitting.
