what do you know scott?!!? this is his first build and he knows what he's doing! What do you know about making a car run?!!?
whatever its more of a street tune then anything.....
did the guy get in your car with the engine setup, drive with you around town and tune while you drove?

I'm sure if you asked questions, people (including Scott) would answer with a wealth of information. However you are claiming that what you have is not a basemap, and thats not true. (unless you got the car running and boosted and i missed that). You're looking like a fool.

if someone does steal your car because of the turbo stickers they are going to be very disappointed and confused when they realize it isn't.

well i picked up my block from the builder (since hes not going to notch it) so i have to notch it....then once im done with that i can go get the rods and pistons(getting pressed together), and head back(getting a valve job) and then take the s**t back to the builder for him to put it all back together.......its been so long!!!

Its not about the car getting stolen, its that ricer mentality for putting the even ricier stickers on there when you aren't turbocharged. I mean do you already tell high school kids that you are turbocharged and running 280HP to the wheels? I'm sure you already do, and it makes you feel cooler right? Man, no kids were ever that pathetic in my high school and it was full with ricers, but they were never like you... Do you rev your car and do the burnouts in the parking lots too? I know I'm asking too many questions, I'm just fascinated with your mentality... Its a lot worse nowadays, these kids are the reasons I grew out of the scene. I can leave your thread if you want, I'm getting way curious about this.
Notching the block is easy, just get a file and put a nipple over the end so if you do manage to slip you won't scar the cylinder wall. most places charge around $40 to notch the block. Wonder why a machine shop won't do it, it would kinda lead me to believe that they are incompetent. The stickers are pretty ricey, and that is coming from a guy with a kitted car, if that makes me a ricer then so be it, but the motor is about 7k and no stupid mods like stickers or faux carbon fiber s**t. Just b/c both of my cars are dohc vtec doesn't make me want to go out and buy the stickers that say it for the side of my car, mainly b/c that would be stupid. To be a "tuner" and not a "ricer" you have to have a different mindset. No over the top tacky garbage. I kinda like widebodies but I wouldn't put one on my car b/c it wouldn't do anything for me. The stickers say something deep rooted and strange would be like me wearing a shirt that said " I have a penis". It would kinda already be a given. Anybody that knows how a car sounds will know its turbo unless you put a recirculation valve on it. It is just kinda kiddish and if you like it that is fine, ubt in about 2-3 years you'll look back and think, " Man, that was stupid".
